His journey into silversmithing was influenced by his brother, Myron Panteah, during his time studying Sports Medicine at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Despite his initial career path, Sanchez found his passion in jewelry-making and has since excelled in the craft.

Sanchez's talent has earned him recognition and awards at prestigious events such as The Red Earth Show in Oklahoma, The Gallup Ceremonial, and the Navajo Nation Fair. Outside of his artistic pursuits, he cherishes spending time with his family, particularly enjoying outdoor activities with his daughters amidst the beauty of nature.
